Overview

Salford, the gateway to one of North West England’s major cities of Manchester, has recently undergone a regeneration scheme covering 24.5 acres after a £1 billion investment to create a mixed use area called Middlewood Locks.

As part of this refurbishment, the 90,000 square ft space would include restaurants, leisure and gym facilities, offices, hotels, and over 2000 living accommodations.

What did we do?

On this huge project we constructed five new roads and carried out a reduced level dig to install drainage systems, kerbs and tarmac.

We did other hard landscaping work which involved us installing paving, ducting, street furniture, edge restraints and planters as well as gateway steps and a carpark plaza.

And we also did soft landscaping works which meant we did a reduced level excavation for tree pits and planter areas, which we then installed topsoil in and planted trees and plants.
