CONSIDERATE CONSTRUCTORS SCHEME
The Considerate Constructors Scheme was put in place in 1997 to improve the image of the construction industry to the public. As most construction work now takes place in urban areas, it is critical that we leave a good impression whilst we are completing works. The main areas of concern are the public, the workforce and the environment.
As part of our commitment to the Scheme, our sites will be monitored in line with the Code of Construction Practice. We will openly display banners, posters, vehicle stickers around our sites showing we are a registered company and our commitment to the Schemes values. When and wherever Murraywood Construction are Principle Contractor the site will be registered with CCS and we will regularly communicate with the local public and trade regarding any concerns that they have as well as keeping them updated on upcoming works. Again, it is our responsibility to display appropriate signage on our hoardings and surrounding the site. If the public wished to contact a member of the team on site, they will be able to locate the contact details on our hoarding. By doing this, we will be promoting the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
We are also registered on the Best Practice Hub, on here our Site Managers and Site Staff complete the e-learning courses to develop our knowledge into the scheme even further.
