Whilst working with Morgan Sindall on a project in Birkenhead we have committed to collaborating with local colleges and community groups in an effort to create opportunities for local people.
This started early in 2022 when two Murraywood Construction colleagues attended Wirral Met College to speak to a group of students about their next step in the industry.
The students were given worthwhile information regarding industry platforms and portals such as CITB, GoConstruct, CTRS and Talentview to inform the students about forums and portals available to them to assist in progressing their careers and valuable information about the industry pathways they can take when they had completed their current training.
As a result of this event we are due to recruit two young persons from the group when they have completed their current course. But we are committed to continuing this initiative and will be participating in more events with the local community and educators.
