Overview

As part of the £650 million regeneration scheme around the River Irwell and following on from the success of One New Bailey which is now home to a leading international law firm, a brand new 10-storey development named Two New Bailey was contracted.

Murraywood Construction were awarded the groundworks and 278 works contract for the 188,500 square ft office and retail space on New Quay Street in Manchester.

What did we do?

On this project we carried out all the external works and the hard and soft landscaping, which included us installing drainage, ducting for electric, gas, water and telecoms and laying foundations for fencing, signage and street furniture.

We also put in paving for a pedestrian area and tarmac surfaced the main access roads and car parks.

Additionally, we laid the foundations for the main steel frame and did the soft landscaping of putting in plants and trees in the immediate vicinity.
