Groundworks Quantity Surveyor – CLOSED

Murraywood Construction Limited have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

The successful applicant will be working within a small management team, with range of duties to include:

• Periodic valuation of works and submission of payment applications.
• Valuing and agreeing variations with our clients.
• Agreeing final accounts and reporting internally on the financial and contractual status of projects, including completion of monthly financial forecasts.

Procuring and letting sub-contract packages, managing sub-contractors accounts and agreeing final accounts.

To be successful you will need to be a good communicator and negotiator; with strong commercial awareness. Knowledge of construction contracts is essential together with good IT skills and experience of Microsoft Office products.

Full time, with a salary to be agreed dependant on experience. Ideally the candidate would reside within the Greater Manchester area but this is not essential.
