We are very proud to have supported the BBC’s DIY SOS Big Build for The Joshua Tree, a fantastic local charity supporting families affected by childhood cancer.
Led by Nick Knowles and the DIY SOS team, alongside hundreds of volunteers and local businesses, a brand-new two-storey facility was built in just 12 days, equivalent in size to four terraced houses!
The new building includes:
• Two family accommodation studios
• A fully equipped gym for wellbeing and rehabilitation
• Two complementary therapy suites
• A teenage breakout room
• Two counselling rooms
• A multifunctional recreation space
• An outdoor therapy garden
This incredible new space will allow The Joshua Tree to support twice as many families, expand its services, and welcome families from across the UK.
The episode aired last night as part of Children in Need, and it was inspiring to see the teamwork, generosity and community spirit behind the project brought to life on screen.
A huge well done to everyone involved, it was an honour to contribute to such a meaningful cause!
