Tom Muse
Tom Muse joined the company three years ago after seeking us out directly shortly after completing sixth form college with a passion to become a civil engineer. He’s gone from strength to strength here at Murraywood after gaining valuable experience from more experienced members of our workforce and through his own dedication to go above and beyond what’s expected of him to complete off-the-job training out of work hours.
Tom is part of CISES’ Tomorrow’s Leaders Committee as well as being a member of their North West/North Wales regional committee. He is also part of ICE’s graduate and student network and hopes to become a fully fledged ICE member once he’s completed his apprenticeship. He is currently working towards a distinction in his HNC qualification at Wigan and Leigh College which he has two years left to complete.
Whilst working for us, Tom has had the pleasure of meeting former Prime Minister Boris Johnson during a site visit of our AstraZeneca project but most recently he’s been seen working hard at sites including Blackpool MSCP, Our Town Hall and Lancashire Cricket Club.
