The Project
Being built in Salford, the gateway to Manchester City Centre as part of a regeneration scheme covering 24.5 acres is a new £1 billion mixed use development called Middlewood Locks.
Prospective commercial occupants for the 900,000 sq ft will include, restaurants, leisure/gym facilities, offices, hotels and over 2,200 living accommodations.
Murraywood Construction are appointed for the roads, drainage, hard and soft landscaping for phase 1.
Scope
The Scope of Works is broken down into the following sections:
- Roads and Sewer – Construction of 5 new roads.
- Reduce level excavate/stone formation, install drainage systems, kerbs and tarmac.
- Mill Side Lane.

- Temporary haul road for phase 2.
